In that prior role, she realized how much she enjoyed making connections with the residents. When she discovered there was an opening at Paul’s Run for a Move-In and Marketing Coordinator, she immediately applied for it. She knew this position would be a way to utilize her love of working with people in a supportive capacity, and she recognized that it would enable her to become part of an active, engaged, compassionate team.

A Helping Hand

When asked about her position as Move-In and Marketing Coordinator at Paul’s Run, she elaborates. “I am not the first face prospective residents get to know when considering a move to Paul’s Run; they first meet Jennifer, the Director of Sales and Marketing, or Rebecca, the Residential Sales Coordinator, in the Marketing Department, but, I am one of the initial faces they get to know once they decide to move here. I immediately get involved in helping them with their move; from signing a contract, to coordinating and facilitating the actual physical move.  She continues, “I also help them by being a facilities liaison so that we can set up projects that can be done ahead of their move, to get their new residence ready.”

She adds, “The Paul’s Run team operates like a well-oiled machine in that everyone knows what has to happen to make all the parts of a resident’s move come together efficiently and smoothly for the new residents.”

A Friendly Face

According to resident Linda W., who moved to Paul’s Run from a condominium in the local neighborhood during January 2023, Amanda was instrumental in easing her anxiety about moving. “She was very helpful in facilitating my getting settled, which was a big help.” She adds, “When I see Amanda in the hall, she knows who I am and greets me by my name, which is impressive since she is dealing with two hundred people just in Independent Living alone, yet she remembers who I am.”

Thank you, Amanda, for being so welcoming and helping residents adjust to their new home at Paul’s Run!
